Well having returned from yet another great visit to Andrew Hall's workshop I think I may need to take to wearing a fedora and a suit with big shoulders .... well OK may be not. However ....
As you can clearly see the trip was well worthwhile, I have completed a Blues Bowl - a three string guitar based on a cigar box guitar but with a Woodturning twist to it.
It is basically a bowl with two cutaway sections and a long spindle which has been turned then cut laterally on the bandsaw.
Its not likely to scare any serious guitar makers but it is fun to make and even more fun to spend the time trying to get a tune out of it.
